Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Colima Optometry Inc a proud provider of vision care products and services in Rowland Heights.

Dr. Steve Penn

Dr. Steve Penn obtained his Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City. He received extensive clinical training at the VA Hospital in West Haven, Connecticut and the Naval Ambulatory Center in Port Hueneme, California.

He holds California state certifications for therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and is certified in managing and diagnosing all ocular conditions, such as cataract, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, eye infections, dry eye syndrome, ocular allergies, lazy eye and strabismus. He is also certified to treat primary open angle glaucoma which most optometrists are not certified in California. In addition, he is certified to provide corneal refractive therapy, a non-surgical way to correct nearsightedness.

He was the former optometric director for Khanna LASIK Eye Institute. Currently he serves as the optometrist for 40 nursing home hospitals and also the president of Colima Optometry Inc.
